Study for Revision of Ban Len Co-generation Project EIA Report due to Project Variation.

Located on a land of 11.8825 rai in Ban Wa (Hi-Tech) Industrial Estate, Ban Len Sub-district, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Ban Len Co-generation Project of Gulf BL Co., Ltd. has the highest capacity of 137 MW, 30 tons/hour of steam, or 5,500 refrigeration tons of cool water, for distributing to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and various factories as part of EGAT’s Small Power Producer (SPP) development project. This will also help reduce the government sector’s power production and distribution cost.

 

After the project’s EIA report was approved on 12 April 2016, there were changes in project details, e.g. number of cooling tower cells, project composition, and chemicals used in production process.

 

TEAM GROUP was entrusted with the EIA study, report and analysis, as well as specifying prevention measures for impact which may arise from these changes.
