The great flood the struck Thailand in September and October 2011 resulted in the death of 815 people and loss of three. A total of 13.6 people were affected and not anyone would be able to forget the misery. Many Bankokians, in particular, had to relocate their families to other provinces and stayed there for several weeks. During that time of hardships, two main roads, Mittraphap and Rama II, were inundated and travel was disrupted.
