Standardization of medicines and medical supplies, which are essential for patient treatment, would add to public confidence in good quality of life. So far, Thailand has entered into the Asian free trade area (AFTA) agreement, which requires member countries to adopt the PIC/S GMP into their pharmaceutical industry.
