Currently, Thailand is facing flooding problems in many areas, which are partly caused by human activities in both household and industrial sectors that release increasing amounts of pollution into the atmosphere. This has led to the 'Greenhouse Effect' and climate change, causing disruptions in the Earth's climate. This issue has been worsening over time.

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has revealed data from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), showing that the global average temperature has risen by 1.5 degrees Celsius, compared to the pre-industrial era (1850-1900). In this issue of TEAM GROUP Newsletter, we have the honor of hearing from Mr.Chawalit Chantararat, Executive Director and Water Specialist of TEAMG, who provided additional insights into the impacts of climate change on human life and livelihood. He also offered recommendations on behavioral adjustments to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the column "Talk with TEAM".
