BIM Application for Project Management and Construction Supervision of the Headquarters of the Stock Exchange of Thailand
Client : Stock Exchange of Thailand Services : Project management, construction supervision, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) The Stock Exchange of Thailand has a plan to construct its new headquarters. Architectural works, structural works, building-system works, and durable-goods works will be required for the construction of this new facility, which will cover about 60,000 sq.m. of utility space. The management of this office building also needs a solution for fast flow of work and efficiency. TEAM GROUP was entrusted with the project management and construction supervision. The Building Information Modeling (BIM) was deployed to create a 3D model of the new headquarters which enables the building administrators to clearly understand its components. Such information will also be helpful for building management and maintenance.
Drone-based Survey for Developing a Topographic and Land-use Map of Boun Neua District, Lao PDR
Client : AIDC Co., Ltd. Services : Survey, mapping, and consulting services AIDC Co., Ltd. wants a topographic and land-use map of Boun Neua District in Phongsali Province. The province borders China to the north and west, Vietnam to the east, Luang Prabang Province to the south, and Oudomxai Province to the southwest. With awareness of its strategic location in terms of a “land-link” with China, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand, AIDC Co., Ltd. is determined to develop Boun Neua into an export hub for agricultural products. TEAM GROUP was assigned to initially survey the area and develop a topographic and land-use map of Boun Neua using a drone-based surveying method, and to provide advisory services.
Drone-based Survey for Developing a Topographic and Land-use Maps, the Vientiane Expressway Phase 1, Lao PDR
Client : Asia Investment, Development & Construction Sole Co., Ltd. (AIDC) Services : Study for traffic demand, survey, topographic and land-use mapping, and consulting services The Vientiane Expressway Phase 1 Project aims at easing traffic problems in the Lao capital. TEAM GROUP was entrusted to undertake the feasibility study of the Project including the forecast on traffic volume, income, investment cost, and operation expenses. We also conducted the preliminary design, economic and financial analysis, and surveyed to prepare the topographic and land-use maps using the Drone or UAV. The photogrammetry was employed to adjust the photos taken after which the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and contour map could then be prepared and used for the study and detailed design.
