Track doubling system in Chira-Khon Kaen junction starts from km 266+300 (Chira junction) to end at km 454+100 (Khon Kaen station) with the distance of 187 km approximately and there are 19 stations and 7 halts, railroad elevation 5.4 km, 86 railways bridges, 3 container yards ,and signaling and telecommunication systems.
